New Breath Expanded Consciousness Sessions!
Posted April 2nd, 2008 by orneshaWe don’t often realize the depth to which we can work with our own bodies. Our collective understanding has been that when we’re experiencing pain or discomfort, that we oddly become the victims to the pain or discomfort, thinking that it’s out of our hands.
It’s been in our hands the whole time, however, and it’s NOT difficult to find or work with. ...read more

Interesting times...
Posted March 1st, 2008 by orneshaWhew...
So much has taken place in these last couple of days...energetically, that is. And, not to mention the headache that moves around inside my head, like it’s looking for some place to land.
It hasn’t bothered me too much, tho. I’ve been paying more attention to everything in and around my heart chakra and watching how my whole world responds to it.Â
Yesterday, Tina wrote an amazing email to Kara and myself, talking about her seeing the mind as a child and her heart as the Divine. Perfect explanation Tina! So it got me "thinking" on what that really means to me...
Here’s what I’ve found: ...read more
New Earth, New Breath
Posted February 24th, 2008 by orneshaBefore I write anything, I like to play in my own personal "laboratory" with it to see, feel, and get the true experience from my perspective.Â
I was amazed at how efficient and comforting this concept really was, however...The ability to switch perspectives from "old" to "new" within a breath was something that I knew was in the process of happening...somehow...and now I can see it’s becoming a reality.
The amount of personal strength it takes to step away from "what is currently happening" and remember that I only have ONE breath to do it in, is astounding.
So this is one of those tools, for me, that makes a HUGE difference in how I’m seeing my day, and then consequently, how the day is unfolding. ...read more

What is Money?
Posted December 15th, 2007 by arvanaIf you have a spare ¾ of an hour, this video does a terrific job of explaining the true nature of money, debt, and the banking system.
Money isn’t real – it’s just a concept based on numbers that are stored in bank computers. Banks have the amazing power to create money, by loaning many times more of it than they actually have.
The video is made in an easy-to-absorb animated style, with an amusingly anarchistic tone. Definitely recommended if you have any interest in bringing an understanding of monetary systems into your world-view.

Homemade natural mouthwash
Posted November 17th, 2007 by arvana
I love mouthwash for those times when I want a fresh mouth but am too lazy or rushed to brush my teeth. But commercial mouthwashes feel like they’re burning my mouth, and who knows what kind of chemicals are in them — in my part of the world, at least, they don’t list any ingredients.
So I decided to make my own. I just mixed up my second batch after a small first experiment, and I’m loving the results.
Here’s what I used: ...read more

The Green Marketplace
Posted November 7th, 2007 by arvana
Lately I’ve been looking into the demographics of the green marketplace, and the results are pretty interesting. I thought I’d share them here with you.
Most ’green’ consumers tend to be:
- early adopters (i.e. they are the first to try new things)
- between 25 and 45 in age
- more likely to be female than male
- well educated
- financially secure
- self-empowered
- solution-based
- information junkies - they read, watch and listen to more media than any other group
- willing to pay 20% more for a similar product that is produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way.
At the same time, most green consumers want their environmentally-friendly choices to be easy, without having to make any major changes to their lifestyle. ...read more
Evolving people living on an evolving planet
Posted November 2nd, 2007 by orneshaEvolving people living on an evolving planet. These are not separate issues, but oh so one and the same. As the climate changes and the impact of our previous ways of living continue to beg us to modify our "strategies" for saving the planet, there is a responsibility that each one of us can look at and accept.
It is the responsibility and at times, daunting task of looking inward at self and asking "Who am I" in all of this craziness and how can it be possible to have footsteps that walk in harmony with the Earth? How can I do this because I want to, and not because I’m told that I have to? ...read more
